Where Dealwise product data comes from
Real product identities today; fresh Amazon offers only when a connected source supports them.
The useful answer
Current product names, model identifiers and specifications are sourced from linked manufacturer pages. Buying notes are original editorial interpretation. Amazon prices and coupons are deliberately absent until a traceable data source is connected.
Product identity
A brand, model and source URL anchor each record. Regional versions and package sizes are kept explicit. Because an Amazon ASIN has not been independently validated for every item, links search the named model rather than pretending to point to a verified product listing.
Specifications and images
Manufacturer pages supply the factual specifications and credited product imagery. Statements such as battery runtime remain attributed manufacturer claims. Images and specifications do not establish current retailer availability or seller reliability.
Fresh prices are a different dataset
A useful offer needs an exact listing, marketplace, currency, observation time and source. Coupons can be conditional on account, variant, membership or seller. A crossed-out price and a search result are insufficient evidence of a working coupon or a historical low.
Why the site works without commission
Editorial notes, brand facts, saved lists and ordinary retailer links do not depend on adding an affiliate tracking tag. The catalog can be curated before an affiliate integration is available. This does not make Amazon’s authenticated API available without its prerequisites.
Automation status
Current publishing uses a reviewed catalog file and a build-time validation gate. A price importer can accept traceable observations; the optional external-provider adapter needs its own credentials. No unattended collection service is currently running.
